If I were a villain, my superpower would be to suck the beauty out of young girls so I can stay beautiful forever. "Honestly, though…you’re just as much an artist as I am. The things you can do to your body, your face, your eyes…the way you smile, pull things together…You’re an artist, no doubt. And the thing is, the only thing you have to do to touch people with your art is walk out the front door and be yourself. That’s the most beautiful kind of art there is, really."
This is actually true for me. Growing up, my mom always made sure I looked “presentable” before I left the house. Hair done, clothes neat and unwrinkled, everything had to be well kempt. She was strict and I guess that’s what made me so insecure during my teenage years. But I’ve grown past that. "I know there’s more to you than your beauty."
